PROVIDE FOR GROWTH AND STABILITY

The Old Main Society is named for Carroll's signature building in recognition of the perseverance and dedication of Carroll's early leaders. Wisconsin's pioneer college and first institution of higher education began in 1846 with five students and two faculty members. OMS members have helped us grow into one of the most dynamic and respected private, independent universities in the Midwest.

Your Direct Impact

As an OMS member, you’ll have a direct and meaningful impact on the experience of today’s Pioneers by:

  • Making it possible for students to attend Carroll regardless of financial ability—100% of our students receive some form of financial support and Carroll distributes more than $48 million in institutional aid each year from multiple sources, including current and endowed scholarships
  • Helping to attract and retain the best and brightest faculty
  • Developing and implementing of new programming and curriculum to meet the needs of today’s workplace
  • Providing access to sophisticated technology and resources our students need to explore, create and discover
  • Nurturing global citizenship through travel and exposure to different cultures
  • Supporting enrichment of the whole person through activities such as athletics, music, theatre and more
  • Maintaining the integrity of our historic campus and buildings

Select Your Focus

The Carroll Fund helps bridge the gap between the actual cost of a Carroll education and what students pay to attend. It helps pay for improvements to facilities, keeps class sizes small and supports our financial aid and scholarship programs, among other things. A gift to the Carroll Fund enables us to focus on university priorities and greatest areas of need. You may also designate your gift to a specific area of interest. Choose to donate directly to an academic program, scholarship fund, building project or any area you would like to support.
